Birthing music

I was chatting to my cousin last night on facebook. She is in the middle of labour. Although I have never given birth to anyone myself. I tried to help her with things I picked up from my history. While in Australia I found out the Australian aboriginal women gave birth at Tea-tree lakes that are surround by trees, the lakes are thick with Tea-tree.
So I said what about the smell of tea-tree. Then I said all fours might help as it did with my sister. Then I said what about music. Maybe having a guitarist playing along to create the right vibe. Then I thought why isn't there any birthing music out there. How many musicians have given birth and how many have witnessed it. If you feel your music is the right thing for birthing. Put an album together especially for birthing.

Calling all Japanese people!

If you are Japanese please listen, the whole planet that is everyone stopped killing whales a long time ago, about 20 years ago. The whole planet is angry that Japan still kills whales. Your government does not tell you that the whole planet is angry with you for killing whales. You do not need to kill whales for food there is plenty of sustainable things to eat like vegetables and rice. You do not even need to eat any fish or meat. The government wants you to eat meat and fish so there is a market for it. You could save a lot of money by not eating fish or meat and save a lot of animals to.
If your country needs to make money then they should employ one artist to design another cartoon character like Hello Kitty and that would be enough business to sustain your country.
If you continue to kill whales the rest of the world will boycott your products like Hello Kitty and they will not find them cute.
I will design your country a new cartoon character if you stop killing whales and fish and turn vegetarian.
Whales are part of the planets Eco system and if you wipe them out there gone forever. The meat is just fat and you can get fat from other products that are not animals or fish.
You have less then two weeks to decide wheather you are going to kill even more whales. Please stop your country from killing whales and save your reputation.
If you don't care about the Whales or anything, then go see a councilor if means your depressed.

Saint Patrick's day cards

Saint Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland, as far as America. In the picture Saint Patrick is going through customs in America and getting his pass port checked and sniffer dog checking out the car, with snakes teasing the dog in the back.
The saying driving the snakes out of Ireland always puzzled me as a kid growing up in Ireland as the country is an Island and the out of Ireland would be a ferry to Hollyhead in Wales or Liverpool in UK or one to Scotland or one all the way to America.
When I was growing up in Ireland the only holiday makers were American and they dressed over the top in green suits and were always expecting a fantasy country with fairy's etc. What they got was something different which gave them shock and there bubble burst.
I have created 11 Saint Patrick's day cards and was going to sell them to a company that might want them. but now I have discovered Red Bubble which prints all my work on cards, t-shirts, etc and sends it to the buyer. Which leaves me loads of time to paint and not have to walk around big city's with a heavy portfolio or going by foot to shops trying to sell the cards.
Red bubble have solved all my problems in one go. If it all works out I might be able to save up enough pennies to go out to Indonesia later this year to help out with Tsunami people and forest people who have been made homeless by are ever increasing demand for toilet paper which is there trees. Please buy recycled toilet paper or use water.
More cards will go on Red bubble later on but for now you can buy the Saint Patrick driving one.
If you would like to buy the original painting before it is turned into cards please do get in contact. I have had it revalued for £7,000,000,000.00

Boring war memorial

This is in the middle of the road next to a war museum and the old post office and Anglia TV. Its an Angel on a plinth. The road is painted like a sea of cars around her.
War and oil are a pair. If we stopped needing oil and cars there would be less need for war memorials. If Britain had a memorial for every war it has had there wouldn't be any room for anything. Trophy's of war, like medals for winning a race. Idealizing the dead, sending your own family to be killed is a very strange thing. Then saying these memorials are to remind us not to have another one, when the country is constantly in one. This means that these statues do not work. What about a few peace sculptures around the city's and having peace parades.
The painting is not for sale but if I did decide to sell it it would go for £6800,000,000.00 with an added bonus for myself of half a million pounds.

The Aliens are leaving painting

The Aliens are leaving painting, they have sucked the planet of all the resources and there off. There not about to come to earth. If I could invent a space craft I wouldn't hang around either.
Being on the planet watching it being destroyed is not a nice feeling. It be would nice to spend the next part of my life on the planet, seeing more good things happening.
It only takes one small step from mankind to make good things happen here on earth. The small step could be changing the loo roll instead of leaving it for someone else to do. Starting a compost bin in the garden or a worm farm. Once you start the thinking and doing your whole world changes. Sometimes I think to big for trying to change things that I think are rubbishing up the planet, but it is far easier to do as much as I can on my own doorstep.
This lovely little painting might appeal to those who work at NASA the painting is revalued at £9990,000,000,000,000,000,000.00 The funds from the sale of this painting will go to replacing all nuclear energy into alternative compressed solar energy and megnatic energy cars.

Hand 'n' hand costumes

Lust in Space 2001, Hand 'n' hand floor shows at the Horden Pavilion were the bees knees, for taking costumes to an extreme level of rarity.

I was fortunate enough to be one of the costume designers for the shows, a long with Marty Jay and Kath Ellis, Zio and many other talented designer/makers.

This was the year we went mirror ball crazy and had the biggest mirror ball on the planet on the stage. All up to 60 dancers were covered in mirrors and in a spacey futuristic costumes. The lead here wore a costume made by Mat from New Zealand who made all the wonderful Xena Warrior Princess costumes. Kath Ellis made the staff for the costume. I am wearing a toy soldier outfit I made for a number for occasions.

In our little costume gang we set a deal of always make the costumes to perfection so they can be used again. We sewed right up until the last minute. By the time we made our own costume for the party we had 30 minutes. I made a toy solder jacket out of glittering green car upholstery to go with my costume. Which I don't have a photo of.

The whole party was put on for Acon who were fund raising for HIV awareness. The party's were the must brilliant array of colour and costume. Everywhere 1000's of people were a performance as well as the main stage shows and little performances and dancing and rooms with different ambience's of music and laughter.

Tesco fresco

The monopoly giant has won there claim to have a tescos on Unthank road. To me this is bad marketing as I learnt in business studies that you don't open a shop where there is already shops that have similar products. Tesco are wasting there share holders money building one on a street where all the residents do not shop at Tescos. Tescos shops are an eyesore to Britain. Tescos should save the planets resources and not build a building, that is going to become derelict soon after being built, as no one will go in a shop that has been x communicated by the community.

A delightful drawing of children in an Italian restaurant in Italy eating diffident types of pasta. Done in pen and ink for my Granny's book.
